I started a new blog today > It's empty but I'd like to monitor my progress
at SudoRoom
http://www.snowyla.com/hackBlog/
Probably going to fill it up with these two:
- https://sudoroom.org/wiki/UnderstandingTools
The SudoRoom site and blog is looking a little bare lately... I love the
wiki but this will hopefully help build up momentum for the 3D printing MRI
stuff. <3
*In the long term I'm going to try to graduate from these expensive ready
made maker kits in arduino that are springing up everywhere.*
They are cool but since we are at a hackrrspace it's better to learn how
to hack without having to spend a ton of money on fancy stuff!
- My focus is on hacking for adults.
*Children are cool but they have enough people helping them out *

For now, people can also make direct one-time donations to Omni at
https://omnicommons.org/donate which forwards to
https://omnicommons.tilt.com/buy-the-building
Not really the same thing as donating to Sudo, but at least it's
already set up and ready to use.
FYI, sonic.net (our original ISP at sudo and the omni) charged our card
$150 because we did not send back the modem, which I wrote to the list
about one month ago. C'est la vie.

is there an easy way for people to make a one-time donation to sudoroom
using a credit card?
I only see a link to gittip on the main page, which is a great thing but
WAY too complicated for people making a one-time donation, especially if
they don't want to link their social media to donating to a "hackerspace".
I want to do some activities at Hardware Hacking Tuesdays where people pay
for materials, but i don't know how to accept donations on behalf of
sudoroom with a credit card.
Also i think it would benefit us to have that functionality right there on
the website.

OK So I started this 3D printing/open source medical scan wiki
- *Where can we upload our open source MRI files to share with each
other at SudoRoom?*
I could always set up something on DropBox as last resort, but is there any
way to do this not at SudoRoom?

i was attempting humor w/the term "hoard". i have been gathering all the
optical things i can find/hack but the laser is the only thing i can think
of that was just laying around sudo. i will try to refrain from humorous
comments as i am missing my mark. cheers
