someone doing something involving young girls

by Romy Ilano

we the people, I don't know, I don't have the time or skill set to be involved in this. If you're willing to lead this effort, could you take care of all these details? Could you volunteer so they stop sending me these requests? I think it'd be cool if a man handled any child-related stuff. All too often I see hackerspaces or community groups dump all this work on women, even women who aren't suited for it. (sort of how usually women end up doing the secretarial work and cooking) Best, Romy Message: 7 Date: Wed, 19 Aug 2015 16:06:30 -0700 From: We The People <hello(a)sl-co.com> To: sudo-discuss(a)lists.sudoroom.org Subject: Re: [sudo-discuss] Could someone do something involving mentoring young girls around once every two months ? What are their ages and interests--what are they asking for? What about cost of supplies--are parents willing to cover this? ============================= Romy Ilano romy(a)snowyla.com

Open source keys

by Adam Munich

I couldn't for the life of me find a proper set of keyboard keys on the interwhoo last night. So here's what seems to be the world's first set of open source keys. I built it to emulate the black keys on a Hammond b-3 (midi controller coming soon) but I'm sure someone here will find another use for this. https://grabcad.com/library/keyboard-keys-1 -^-^-^-^-^- Adam Munich - *Builder of wild things (and organizations)* Website <http://adammunich.com/> | Linkedin <https://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=231888934> | Twitter <https://twitter.com/adammunich> | Tel: +1-650-452-0554 The key to mastering any skill is nothing more than passion and persistence.

Missing Box of PC Cables, PCI Cards, RAM, and Hard Drives?

by Matthew Senate

Hey all, Has anyone seen a box (or multiple boxes) containing groups of the items in the subject of this message? I had been collecting and storing PC components at the blue table in the middle of sudo room (pc repair station), including cables, PCI cards (e.g. video and sound cards), as well as sticks of RAM (new and old ones--useful for repairs). There were also several hard drives (mostly older IDE drives) on the metal shelves along the south wall in sudo room. Has anyone seen these items or know where they may have ended up? Bummed, Matt

Could someone do something involving mentoring young girls around once every two months ?

by Romy Ilano

It's neither my skill set nor my specialty so if someone is good at this could they do this once or twice every two months ? Hopefully not anything horrible like teaching girls how to build electronics with jewelry only or anything else beauty based and hopefully not with this awful girl specific pink you crap I see flooding the market . I simply cannot do it because my time is limited Best romy Sent from my iPhone

by Marc Juul

The theme of tonight's meeting is: Turtles (how do they do that trick where their head retracts? I mean what happens to their spines? How can they shorten their spines? Is it like a harmonica? No that can't be right IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE) -- marc/juul
