My Coworking space is across the street from the old SudoRoom 🕺
I miss the downtown ness of it ! I heard unfortunately a new company wanted the Bildung so they kicked out the cool jazz studio the sound room. And the hairdressers … but then COVID hit so the building stays empty ðŸ˜

Hey, I was just looking at Omni's calendar and I noticed there's no
SudoRoom events promoted on it, it would be nice to join calendars, or at
least add our events to it and update both calendars when needed.
So does anyone know the logistics to add stuff to Omni's calendar?

Hey everyone!
Tonight’s weekly Sudo room party is a sci-fi hang out! Bring your favorite
comic books, games, art or whatever and share what you love!
The party starts at 8 PM.
Next Wednesday will be our April meeting, so if there’s anything you’d like
to discuss, share it below to have it added to the agenda.

This is pretty cool! Hackerdojo has a drop in Coworking rate. I wonder if we could ever do something like this for fundraising

We got an email on the info@ address from someone seeking an
internship/apprenticeship of some kind, and I think it's a great opportunity
for everyone. Unfortunately i don't have bandwidth to take this on (I think)
so i'm wondering if anyone else does? I think it would be good for everyone.

To Whom It May Concern,
Hello! I am a student at ... a high school in Downtown Oakland. Our school
requires juniors to find unpaid internship placements at local businesses on
Thursdays from April - May. I am very interested in the possibility of having
an internship with your organization.
I am hoping to find a placement that will teach me about the different ways to
be involved in the field of coding and computer programming. During my
sophomore and junior years, I took classes involved with coding in Java.
Through these classes I learned how to have fun while learning to code, and
the way your organization offers a creative space with technology really
interests me.
Would it be possible to talk further about interning at your organization?
I'm also attaching a quick information sheet as well as my resume and a more
detailed cover letter. If you are interested in more of the specifics around
our internship program, please let me know so we can set up a time to talk
further about this possibility!
