We're in a tricky legal situation. But you should stop by anytime and
check it out. There are almost always people in the building willing
to vouch for guests and give tours. You can also call Sudoroom's phone
# ahead of time: 510-858-7155
We get a lot of emails to info(a)sudoroom.org and only a few people are
on that list. A lot of good people and opportunities have sadly fallen
through the cracks because the same few people are overextended. If
you would like to help us with this labor of love, please join the
list here: https://lists.sudoroom.org/listinfo/info
Thanks!
Hi All,
The two previous posts did not go to this gmail but did go to my yahoo
email -- of course into my spam folder.
So, the main thing is for someone to forward my posts so everyone can see
them.
And can someone tell me how I can get my posts to come to this email where
everyone else's posts arrive at, but not mine for some reason (and here
none go into the spam folder).
Hope I haven't taken up too much time and space with all this, but the
yahoo spam folder thing is something everyone should be aware of.
Have a funny day.
Best,
Ira Brightman
I wish there an english term analogous to to majordo@. What would succinctly express rotational co-responsibility?
It's easier to use verbs that nouns in non-dicey manner to describe the people who are stewarding projects.

I'll send in the old board today and, we'll see if we can get this guy up
in a week :-)

Hi All,
The previous post I sent went into the archive but did not go to even the
gmail -- Ira997(a)gmail.com -- that everyone else's posts are going to. Can
someone forward the two posts (previous and this one) on the archive so
that everyone can see them?
Anyone have any ideas on all this?
Have a funny day.
Best,
Ira Brightman
Hi All,
I just discovered that with sudo-discuss posts I was receiving at my yahoo
email, over half were going into my spam folder. In fact, one I had sent
was not in any folder, but did show up in the archive on the Sudoroom site
(as I believe did all posts).
I signed in to receive sudo-discuss posts at this, a gmail account, and
none went into the spam folder. So, of course, I will continue to read the
posts on this gmail account.
Have other people had similar issues with sudo-discuss and yahoo? Check
your yahoo email spam folder if you're not sure.
Have a funny day.
Best,
Ira Brightman
Hi all,
This Sunday I'm going to the Greenpeace warehouse to help build art,
structures, paint banners, paint puppets, canoes etc for the upcoming
big giant Oakland climate march in February, protesting Gov Brown's
expansion of fracking.
We need your help. Meeting at the Greenpeace Warehouse, 955 7th St.,
Oakland this Sunday.
I'll be there from 11am-2pm. Let me know if you need a ride; I'd be
happy to help. Also let me know if you're coming. It's accessible, too.
http://marchforclimateleadership.org/arts-organizing/
My friend David Solnit is organizing it, and he's a fantastic artist
(did all the art for the massive climate march in NYC in 2014).
If you've never been to the Greenpeace warehouse, it's pretty awesome.
They have all kinds of crazy equipment + artifacts from GP missions and
Oakland protests past. Please join us, even just for an hour :) See
another cool space and learn about California's changing energy economy.
Peace,
April
PS: Please forward this to whoever might be interested! More info:
