Re: [sudo-discuss] sudoroom 3D printer is working!

by Adam

Nope, just finding a good adhesive for reattaching it is hard. I ended up just using an open cell foam pad to push the header on the glass mechanically. Only advice is to not be too aggressive and let the glue take its time to release. Doingbot while warm would help. On Mar 21, 2018 1:34 PM, "Marc Juul" <marc(a)juul.io> wrote: Cool! Hey is there any reason why I can't do that end then just flip the glass, clean it and re-attach the heating pad on the bottom? Any tips on getting the heating pad off? Fwd: [omni-accounts] Upgrade to blazing fast Phiber Optic Internet

by Yardena Cohen

We could have gigabit internet at Omni! LMI sent this almost 2 months ago and I'm not sure how to reply because the account is still in Marc Juul's name. Is there a way to change the account to give multiple people access to it? I just passed a Sonic truck on Shattuck on my way over here today. They're putting optical splitters to peoples' houses less than a mile up the road. It's time for us to get some of this. :) ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: LMi Info <info(a)lmi.net> Date: Thu, Mar 7, 2019 at 1:13 PM Subject: [omni-accounts] Upgrade to blazing fast Phiber Optic Internet To: <lmi-bulletin(a)lists.lmi.net> Hello, We're reaching out to let you know that our fiber optic internet service is available, or will be available soon, at your address. Where did the new 3D printer go?

by Marc Juul

Someone donated a new 3D printer this week (looked like a Prusa clone) and it's now gone. Any idea what happened to it?

USB/MIDI/Macbook mess

by Jonah Mociun

Hey there! Jake suggested I message you all cause I'm having trouble with some weird things I'm trying to do with a new Macbook Pro with the USB-C ports.. I use a bunch of different USB-2 devices (including some Nintendo Gamecube to USB-2 ones) as MIDI controllers for Ableton Live. One of the controllers is a trackball mouse - both that and the two game controllers go into this program called Junxion Lite to convert their signals into MIDI, then there's an external keypad, a midi keyboard, a little dj controller, two generic Arduino boards that control LED's, and a Makey Makey circuit board. That's 9 USB-2 devices I'm trying to get in there. I have a couple different USB-2 hubs and a USB2 to USBC hub.. I've managed to make it all work but inconsistently Ableton crashes when I activate the Max Arduino plugin. Also the Junxion settings keep needing to be changed cause the devices get ordered in a new way, apparently, every time I restart the computer. This all works fine on my older Macbook. It's a fucking nightmare and I don't really know that much about how computers work. Arlo has been trying to help me long-distance but he says it's a bit over his head. I'm going to meet with him in person on Saturday to see if we can make any headway, but just thought I'd put this out there in case anyone has ideas or anything. May have left a motor controller behind

by Adam Munich

I may have left a motor controller on the brown table tuesday night, if it is black and has green connectors on it. If you see it please set it aside for me / don't e-waste it. It is broken but I can fix it. Cheers Adam - - - - Weblog: http://adammunich.com With great power comes great responsibility.
